Running Workshop
Running Workshop
RUNNING SEASON IS HERE!
Living in Wisconsin, we know that we have a short outdoor running season. Where do we find the time to train for the races we want to run? How do we run during these precious months and feel good?
We run for different reasons. But at the end of the day, we run because we can! Running is a basic human skill. As toddlers we run everywhere we go. As we get older we run as we participate in sports or other activities. Many of us run as a hobby or to stay fit. If we are born to run, why are there so many injuries? Is it possible that over time our form breaks down and we run less efficiently?
Because it is a basic human skill, many of us just run without thinking about the what we are doing. Just like anything, the magic is in the details! If you can learn to run with better form, improve your breathing technique, stay strong during your runs and prevent injury, then it stands to reason that you will be able to enjoy running for much longer. By working on all of these aspects you will also improve your running times, which makes all those miles worth it the hard work!
Join Coach Pat Davy, Pose Method Running Technique Specialist, on Saturday July 15, 2017 for a 4-hour workshop addressing many of these areas. In this workshop, Coach Pat will Discuss:
